Thank you to all that were able to attend and help create 50 care packages! We will be distributing them to local chemotherapy patients with autoimmune and cancer diagnoses in the next few weeks! Included in the packages: A coloring booklet explaining our mission with a number of fall and winter coloring pages with crayons to keep minds active and distracted during infusions, two sterile masks for the trip home, ear plugs to help silence the hustle and bustle of the infusion clinic, hard candy (with and without sugar) to help stem alleviate dry mouths, cookies/snacks, chapstick with our logo, Purell wipes, two flavors of relaxing caffeine-free tea from Stash Tea, colored “Feel Better Soon” pages by the girls, along with a generous helping of love and prayers.
