Our Mission
“Our mission is to provide both a kind ear to listen and warm hand to hold as the threads of life are either lovingly cared for and woven back into the community or peacefully snipped from the fabric of time and gently laid to rest. We motivate and inspire people from all walks of life to speak life into impossible situations like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Cancer, and other chronic, autoimmune illnesses.”
Why Choose Us
We provide the compassionate and family-styled support system needed to make a positive impact on the day-to-day living of our members here in the Metropolitan Saint Louis and Metro-East Illinois areas.
HOSPITAL & CHEMOTHERAPY VISITATIONS
We make every effort, when requested, to visit with members during their hospital stays and chemotherapy infusions. Having a friend nearby during difficult times aids in the healing process and provides temporary relief to members’ family.
FOOD BANK & MEAL SERVICES
We are working towards hosting a food bank but, until that time arrives, we have a number of solutions available to assist our members.
Until our facility is ready, we are coordinating with area food banks to volunteer and donate resources to their cause and will, when possible, provide meals to members recovering from intrusive surgeries.
EDUCATIONAL FORUMS & EVENTS
We will be hosting educational events to provide insight across a broad spectrum of topics; prescription reviews, navigating insurance policies, holistic wellness, fitness, a healthy dining lifestyle, and more.
housebound support
Our members and volunteers make post-hospitalization and chemotherapy infusion follow ups via telephone or video chats.
We do the same for our permanently house-bound members so that they are able to experience the fellowship and kindness of the group.
Our emotional and physical limitations can temporarily disappear with a few clicks of button!
